No. I have trained dogs at every age and I have never turned one away for being old. Older dogs often pick up obedience faster than puppies because they settle sooner and have longer attention spans. What changes with age is not whether a dog can learn, it is how long a habit has been rehearsed, and that is a question of consistency rather than age.

Not automatically. I select tools for the individual dog and the specific problem, and we decide together during the evaluation. The starting point is always leadership, structure, and clear communication, and plenty of dogs never need a specialist tool at all. What I will not do is promise you a tool free program before I have met your dog, or reach for a tool before I understand the problem.

No, and not at any price. A dog trained in a facility learns to obey that trainer in that facility, then goes home to a household that has not changed and the behavior degrades. Aggression and reactivity are leadership problems as much as obedience problems, and you cannot outsource your half of that. I train in your home, or remotely by Zoom and telephone.
